About The Candler Off Candler

A family-run creative lab in Atlanta

The Candler Off Candler is a small, family company based in Atlanta. This is where we document our own creative work — and the work of our friends — across games, books, apparel, web apps, and more.

Who we are

We’re a family studio that turns everyday ideas into playable, wearable, and readable experiences. Some of what lives under the TCOC umbrella:

  • Card & board games like Rap It Up, Reel It In, Jam Session, and Incentive
  • Books and stories by friends of the store, including Izadore Stone and more to come
  • Apparel and Cricut-friendly designs that celebrate art, math, music, film, and Atlanta itself
  • Digital experiences and companion web apps that extend gameplay and storytelling

Every project starts as something we’d genuinely enjoy using or gifting to someone we love — the store is just how we share those ideas with a wider community.

What we’re making now

Right now, we’re actively building:

  • New decks and expansions for our existing card games
  • More companion apps for music and movie-based play
  • Scripts and concepts for plays and live experiences
  • Additional apparel, posters, and makerspace-friendly designs

If you see something that feels “in progress,” that’s because it probably is — The Candler Off Candler is an evolving archive of what our family and friends are creating.

How the web apps fit in

Many of our physical games have a dedicated companion app hosted under tcocgamesbooksmore.com. These apps are designed to:

  • Provide songs, prompts, or question sets that stay fresh over time
  • Offer optional challenges and alternate ways to play
  • Support updates and tweaks without reprinting decks
  • Give players a simple, mobile-friendly way to run a game night

If you’re playing Rap It Up, Reel It In, Jam Session, Incentive, or Relationship Constitution, there’s a good chance there’s a companion web app living quietly under this domain to support it.
